Following are the historical moments in sequence that happened on 2nd day of March that is 22nd day of Chet according to Nanakshahi Calendar: 1) 1757 Timur Shah (son of Ahmad Shah) and Jahan Khan (Governor of Lahore) attacked Sri Harmandir Sahib. 2) 1809 Treaty of Amritsar signed between Maharaja Ranjit Singh and the British. 3) 1850 The Sikh forces of Maharaja Ranjit Singh were disbanded, approximately a year after the East Indian Company gained controled of Punjab.
