Following are the historical moments in sequence that happened on 6th day of April that is 25th day of Chet according to Nanakshahi Calendar: 1) 1849 Maharani Jinda was forcibly moved from Banaras into maximum security facilities at Chunar Fort . 2) She was wife of Maharaja Ranjit Singh and mother of Maharaja Dalip Singh. 3) Once the British government gained control of the Khalsa Raj's affairs, she was initially kept under house arrest at Saekhupura and subsequently jailed at Chunar fort. |
